When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email/password). We also collect meditation usage data such as completed sessions and streak information stored locally on your device.
We use your information to provide and improve the Araam app experience, manage your account and subscription, and communicate with you about your account or the service.
Account information is stored securely on our servers. Meditation progress, streaks, playlists, and preferences are stored locally on your device and are not synced across devices. Downloaded meditation audio files are stored locally on your device.
We use the following third-party services:
When you sign in with Google, we receive a Google User ID from Google's authentication service. This identifier is stored in our database and linked to your account for the purpose of recognising you on future sign-ins. The Google User ID is retained for the lifetime of your account and is deleted when you delete your account. This storage is required by Google's API Terms of Service to be disclosed when a Google User ID is retained beyond a single session.
When you sign in with Apple, we similarly receive and store an Apple User ID for the same purpose of persistent account recognition.
When you subscribe to Araam Premium, a RevenueCat subscriber identifier is created and linked to your account. This identifier is used by RevenueCat to manage your subscription entitlements and purchase receipts. We pass your internal account identifier to RevenueCat at sign-in to associate your subscription with your account.
We log events related to subscription flows (such as paywall views, purchase attempts, and errors) to help us diagnose technical issues and improve the subscription experience. These events are stored in our database and may include your RevenueCat subscriber identifier and device platform. They are used solely for internal analytics and quality assurance, and are not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
You can delete your account at any time from the app's profile settings. This will permanently remove all account data from our servers, including your name, email, Apple User ID, Google User ID, and RevenueCat subscriber association. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app.
Araam is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app.
